A buoyant Newcastle United will fancy their chances of backing up their first win of the season with a positive result against Leicester City.
Eddie Howe’s side travel to the King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon, looking to kick on from the crucial 1-0 victory against Burnley at St James’ Park.
A win against Brendan Rodgers’ side could see the Magpies climb out of the relegation places, if weekend results go our way.
For all of Newcastle’s well-documented defensive problems this season, the Toon Army have the same number of Premier League clean sheets to their name as the Foxes (1).

However, under Howe, Newcastle look to be improving defensively. In contrast, Leicester haven’t registered a Premier League clean sheet since their opening day 1-0 victory against Wolves.
Only Norwich (31), Newcastle (30) and Watford (29), have conceded more goals than Leicester (27), in the top-flight so far this season.
Newcastle will be hoping to replicate the 4-2 win at Leicester in May, which derailed the Foxes’ Champions League bid.

Callum Wilson got a brace that day, and with two goals in his last two games, Newcastle’s number nine will fancy his chances against a vulnerable Leicester backline.
Alongside Allan Saint-Maximin and Joelinton, Newcastle’s attacking trio could cause the Europa League side a number of problems.
In an attacking line-up against the Clarets, Howe also started Joe Willock and Miguel Almiron. It will be interesting to see whether the former Cherries boss goes that adventurous against Rodgers’ men.
With Leicester having a crucial Europa League game away to Napoli on Thursday, Newcastle could benefit from a having full week to prepare for the fixture.
