Newcastle have already poached central defender Dan Burn and sporting director Dan Ashworth from Brighton since the takeover.
Burn proved his worth in the 1-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday, marshalling the backline and helping them keep a clean sheet.
Ashworth is currently on gardening leave but is all set to add footballing expertise to Newcastle’s operation once that is complete.

Now, the Daily Mail are reporting that Newcastle are plotting another raid on the Amex Stadium, this time for academy manager John Morling.
The report claims Newcastle are planning to overhaul every area of the club to bring them up to the required standard for the ambition of the club.
Morling has been marked out as a potential candidate for a key role in Newcastle’s academy setup, which stagnated under Mike Ashley.

Morling was a former youth player at Norwich City before he started a youth coaching career while he was still a teenager.
He then went on to work for the Irish FA as player development manager and then manager of their Under 16s and 17s.
Morling joined Brighton ten years ago has been key to their improvement at academy level which has resulted in the club being granted that coveted Category One status.
