Newcastle United have now been named as one of the clubs targeting Juventus youngster Dean Huijsen who will be in demand this January.
Huijsen very recently made his Serie A debut and has been tipped to have a very bright future in the game with a number of European clubs now chasing his signature.
A report from Ginaluca Di Marzio now claims that Newcastle are one of those teams who are looking at the centre-back as the Magpies hope to steal two of Juventus’ young gems
Newcastle hoping to complete Juventus swoop
Newcastle have already shown a lot of interest in one of Juventus potential talents as they have been tracking the development of Matias Soule who is currently impressing out on loan at Frosinone.
It is Frosinone who also pose a threat to any Newcastle bid for Huijsen in January as the Italian club again want to do business with Juventus by also taking the 18-year-old on loan.
The reports claims that there are several Italian sides who are keen on the teenager, but also that Granada, Young Boys and Newcastle are exploring the option of signing Huijsen.
He may only have played one senior game in his career so far but he’s shown great talents in Juventus’s youth sides, 70 appearances in total with 18 goals, which has earned him a spot in the Netherlands Under-19s team this year.

Huijsen could be a long-term replacement for Fabian Schar
With the ability to play with both feet Huijsen could be a very useful talent for Eddie Howe and someone who could eventually take up the role of Fabian Schar as a right-sided centre-back alongside Sven Botman.
The Swiss defender has just turned 32-years-old and, although he is playing at the top of his game right now despite the recent injury, he’s simply not going to be around forever.
At 6ft 5 the Dutch youth international is also a commanding presence and would add to what is already a fairly tall squad, although they don’t tend to put that to much use when it comes to set-pieces.
