Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that Newcastle target Axel Tuanzebe will be allowed to leave the club on loan.
Tuanzebe is reportedly wanted by Newcastle, with the Telegraph claiming he could be Steve Bruce’s first signing of the summer.
The Chronicle added on Wednesday that the 23-year-old’s camp are delighted by the Magpies’ interest.
Later that day, Tuanzebe was in pre-season action. He played the full 90 minutes as Manchester United drew 2-2 with newly promoted Brentford.

However, some Red Devils fans were less than impressed with his performance.
But there is no reason to worry. Tuanzebe is still a young player, and it is only a pre-season friendly.
Solskjaer to allow Tuanzebe to leave on loan
Newcastle desperately need reinforcements, and it looks like one of their targets will be available.
“Of course, with Raphael coming in, I can see Axel going out [on loan], because I have Varane, Maguire, Lindelof and Eric Bailly and Phil Jones is coming back in,” Solskjaer told Man United’s official website.
So Solskjaer can see Tuanzebe going out on loan, but can he see him in a black and white shirt?

The Chronicle claimed that the Magpies are in pole position. Next thing they’ll be saying they’re confident…
Regardless, Bruce clearly wants a new central defender. He’s already missed out on Kristoffer Ajer and William Saliba.
Will Tuanzebe join that list, or is he going to be Newcastle’s first signing of the summer?
With the clock ticking towards the new Premier League season, only time will tell.
