Newcastle making plans to massively expand scouting network

Newcastle United are continuing to make plans for the future, and are now looking to expand the number of scouts on the club’s books.

The recruitment has been spot on since the change of ownership, with Newcastle making some sensational signings.

The likes of Bruno Guimaraes, Sven Botman and Alexander Isak should be with us for a long time, while there have also been exciting youth additions. Garang Kuol is being tipped to become a real star, and the Magpies were able to fend off strong competition to bring him to Tyneside.

With Sporting Director Dan Ashworth pulling the strings, Newcastle are building a team that is capable of sustained success, full of talent of all ages from all over the world.

That is the plan, and now the club are taking even more steps to improve their recruitment.

Newcastle advertise multiple global scouting jobs

On the job section of the club’s official website, there are multiple scouting positions available. Newcastle are looking for scouts from six different regions to help the club find players for the first-team and emerging talent.

The destinations that Newcastle are looking to scout in are:

• France
• Germany, Holland and Belgium
• Italy, Switzerland and Croatia
• Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark and Serbia
• Brazil, Colombia and Ecuador
• Argentina and Uruguay

Newcastle are looking to cover all bases, and ensure they don’t miss out on emerging stars who could end up being worth an absolute fortune.

This is something that Ashworth did brilliantly at Brighton, and they are reaping the rewards right now. So often they sign unknown players for small fees, and they develop into Premier League stars. That is why they are currently challenging us for a place in Europe.

Ashworth is now looking to do the same with Newcastle, and ensure they don’t always have to spend mega money for players who are ready to make an instant impact. They want young talents that can still grow and develop.

That is what we have got with Garang Kuol, and there have been plenty of attempts to tap into the South American market. Andrey Santos and Maximo Perrone were heavily linked, while there is still speculation surrounding Matheus Franca and Vitor Roque.

With more scouts on board, the more players Newcastle can find, and the stronger the team can be. This is another exciting step in the incredibly ambitious PIF project.
