Newcastle United are yet to release their new Castore away kit for the new season.

The home shirt was released at the start of the month, but received mixed reviews.

Castore’s first Toon jersey is very similar to the 2019/20 home kit, while the ‘four’ on the front is impossible not to see once you notice it.

But perhaps they’ll have more luck with the away and third kits.

The Chronicle’s Matthew Ketchell, who correctly reported on the home kit’s grandad collar before its release, has stated on Twitter that the away kit will be released tomorrow (July 30th).

He added that it will be all black, with gold featuring on the shirt.

These claims seem very likely to be true, based on Sports Direct’s listing.

Their website says the kit will be available on July 30th, and is black/gold. It’s also a rather expensive £64.99. That’s less than £65!

This has got fans speculating on Twitter, with an image of a shirt doing the rounds on social media.

It certainly matches the description, with gold badge and sponsors. It’s probably the only gold we’ll see this season.

It’s very similar to the third kit from 2017/18, which was very easy on the eye.

However, there is nothing to suggest that this is in fact the shirt.

But if it is, fans will be very happy. Some have reacted on Twitter, and are loving the ‘leaked’ away shirt.
