Eddie Howe today oversaw his first training session as Newcastle United manager – and fans have been loving a clip the club tweeted out.
After what has felt like an eternity, the Magpies yesterday delivered confirmation of Howe’s appointment.
It followed him attending the Brighton game on Saturday.
The new owners took their time. The Unai Emery situation was slightly embarrassing, but Howe is in now and is a solid appointment.
There have been lots of reports about how Howe smashed his interview.
And there is a lot of information out there now about the way How works and how meticulous he is.
It all makes for exciting reading, and hopefully the players respond well.
They undoubtedly need a fire lighting beneath them having been under the guidance of Bruce.
Howe should provide that injection of energy and urgency if nothing else.

After arriving at the training ground very early this morning, Howe put his new players through their paces for the first time.
The club have released a bit of footage, and Howe can be heard saying ‘a lot of people are stood still’.
In the clip he is vocal, and also very present in his own drills.
