Former Newcastle defender DeAndre Yedlin is now a free agent after his contract with Galatasaray was terminated.
He joined the Turkish outfit in February 2021 on a two-and-a-half year deal but he has not got through a year of it.
The defender apparently has interest from MLS clubs in his home country of America and also Hull in the Championship.

New Hull director of football Tan Kesler helped bring Yedlin to Galatasaray last February when Kesler worked as an agent, according to the Athletic.
That means that he could be bound for a return to English football and that is what some Newcastle fans on Twitter think he should do that.
Others joked that he would soon be linked with a return to Tyneside given the amount of transfer targets which have been mentioned in relation to Eddie Howe’s men this month.

Yedlin made 24 appearances this season for Galatasaray so he should have the match fitness and sharpness to make an impact wherever he goes.
He should not be a target for Newcastle, and in any case Kieran Trippier has been signed in his position anyway, but some Newcastle fans commented on his situation on Twitter.
