Mehrdad Ghodoussi has called on Tracey Crouch to scrutinise the ongoing takeover saga at Newcastle United.
Earlier this week, the Premier League issued a ‘no comment’ response to a statement the Toon released on Thursday evening.
The club launched an attack ahead of the arbitration hearing.
The hearing is to take place this month, and it remains to be seen what will come of the club’s CAT case against the Premier League.
Newcastle want the arbitration to be held in public.
Takeover figure Ghodoussi, Amanda Staveley’s husband, gave his reaction to the lack of a response on Twitter on Thursday, writing: “Transparency’ is what all football fans deserve.”
He has now called on Conservative MP Tracey Crouch – who is chairing the fan-led review into football governance – to look into proceedings.
He said: “Delay tactics, zero transparency. Fans deserve better. @tracey_crouch please look into this.”
