Some Newcastle United fans have been giving their reactions to some interesting news from yesterday.
Not a great deal has happened on the transfer front so far.
A bunch of new deals have been handed out, but no new players have come into the club yet.
But yesterday, Newcastle did announce some change in the form of new squad numbers for Joelinton and Callum Wilson.
Brazilian Joelinton had been sporting the iconic number nine 9, but will now wear number 7.
It is a move that some will hope now takes away a bit of pressure away from him.
It would appear to suggest Andy Carroll has left the club, although the club have still not provided any communication about the striker.

Wilson, who was wearing number 13, will now assume Joelinton’s old number 9 shirt.
At the time of his arrival at the club, Wilson had said that he would have taken that shirt had it been free.
Speaking about his new number, Wilson said (via Chronicle): “You’re playing for the badge on the front ultimately but you’re wearing a special number on the back and it’s just about doing it justice, playing well and helping the team.”
Joelinton is more than happy to sport the number 7, adding (via Shields Gazette): “I know the history of the No.7. A lot of great players have had it. I’m happy, and I hope I can help the team with this new number.”

On social media, fans have been reacting to yesterday’s news.
It is fair to say the announcement has gone down very well.
Wilson wearing the number 9 shirt is something a lot of people have longed to see, given his status as the club’s main goalscorer:
