Where would Newcastle be without Callum Wilson?
He was the big arrival last summer, costing £20million from relegated Bournemouth.
And Wilson has proven to be worth every penny.
He scored on his debut against West Ham, and has since added another 11 goals.
Wilson has scored 12 Premier League goals this season, as well as providing five assists. He’s only two goals behind his best Premier League tally, despite playing four games fewer.
However, Wilson won’t be scoring any more goals this season.
The striker picked up a hamstring injury in the win over Leicester, meaning he will miss the remaining three games.
It’s disappointing, but not the end of the world. Newcastle are safe from relegation, meaning there is nothing left to play for but pride.
Wilson can recharge his batteries and prepare himself for another big season at St James’ Park. Hopefully it is one where he can actually play in front of fans.
But will Wilson still be wearing the number 13 shirt next season?
That’s the number he got when he first arrived at Newcastle, despite speculation that he would become the club’s number nine.
That honour currently belongs to Joelinton, despite the Brazilian clearly not being an out-and-out goalscorer.
The number nine is Newcastle’s most famous number. It has been worn by club legends such as Alan Shearer and Jackie Milburn.
And next season, some fans want to see Wilson join that illustrious club.
