Newcastle United fans were today treated to a short interview with the club’s co-owner Amanda Staveley, and loved her communication.
She sat down to talk with the club’s official website about a hectic past few weeks.
Staveley and the other consortium members have been hard at work appointing a new manager.
Their search ended earlier this week, with Eddie Howe coming in to succeed Steve Bruce.
Howe has already had a couple of training sessions with his new players, and faced the media yesterday.
The hard work will not stop for Staveley, with a new director of football next on the agenda.
One thing that has been very apparent since the takeover went through, is how communicative the new owners have been.
The club’s social media channels have certainly been very busy in the last few weeks.
Staveley really came across well in this latest interview.
She touched upon how the decision to hire Howe was reached, and also spoke a little about where the new owners’ investment will be going.
Futhermore, Staveley insisted they want to communicate with the fans, and own up to mistakes if they make them.

Newcastle fans just cannot get enough of this new communication regularity.
Toon fans never heard a peep out of Mike Ashley during his tenure. The many poor decisions he made were exacerbated by the fact that he always hid away and never spoke.
So far, there has been constant communication from the new owners. It is something that is clearly important to Staveley and the others.
