Newcastle United fans have been expressing their frustration following the announcement of the club’s 25-man Premier League squad.
The Magpies have now officially submitted their squad for the first half of the season, and Steve Bruce has named four goalkeepers.

It follows a number of reports suggesting that’s what he was going to do.
Martin Dubravka, Freddie Woodman, Karl Darlow and Mark Gillespie are all in.
Slovakia international Dubravka is currently unavailable for selection of course.
The 32-year-old underwent surgery on his foot after Euro 2020.
It was reported at the end of August by Sky Sports that he would be out for around eight weeks.
It seems his return could therefore be around November time.
Given Woodman impressed for two years on loan at Swansea City, and Darlow did well in Dubravka’s absence last term, plenty of fans have been unable to accept the idea of Dubravka being named in the squad.
Naming four goalkeepers has really annoyed some fans who were desperate for new additions at the end of the transfer window.

Newcastle were linked with the likes of Hamza Choudhury and Boubacar Kamara, but didn’t bring in either.
Newcastle fans left fuming
On social media, lots of Toon fans have slammed the decision to name four goalkeepers.
People were also unhappy that Callum Wilson got named twice, and Woodman was initially left off. The list has now been corrected.
