Kieran Trippier delivers intriguing message to Arsenal star Bukayo Saka

Kieran Trippier has got Newcastle United hearts racing with an intriguing message to Bukayo Saka.

Arsenal superstar Saka was England’s hero against Ukraine on Sunday. He was instrumental in the Three Lions’ 2-0 win, providing an assist and scoring an absolute stunner himself.

It means England have six points from a possible six so far as they look to qualify for Euro 2024 in Germany.

Gareth Southgate’s side enjoyed a pretty much perfect international break, having kicked it off with a 2-1 win over Italy.

Trippier was involved in Naples, coming off the bench to win his 41st cap for his country. However, he did not feature in the win at Wembley over Ukraine.

After the game, Trippier took to Instagram. He posted a picture on his story of him speaking to Saka.

Trippier wrote: “Brilliant three points to end another England camp. @BukayoSaka87 will see you soon.”

‘See you soon’? Does Trippier know something we don’t? As it stands, Trippier and Saka won’t come across each other again until May 7th when Newcastle welcome Arsenal to St James’ Park. That could be a huge game if each side is still competing for top four and the Premier League title respectively.

In a fantasy world, Trippier’s message would imply that Saka is going to swap North London for Tyneside in the near future. That would be a dream, as the 21-year-old is one of the most exciting players around at the moment. He does have a Newcastle connection too, with his father supporting the Magpies.

Saka is enjoying a sensational season with Arsenal, boasting 12 goals and 10 assists in the Premier League. That makes him even more influential than Miguel Almiron, who has been our very own superstar on the right of attack.

Of course, there is absolutely no way that Saka is moving to Newcastle. He is part of something special at Arsenal, and could be a title winner by the end of the season. And there is no chance that Trippier is hinting he’s off to the Emirates either due to his Tottenham Hotspur history.
