Newcastle United are in safe hands.
While Eddie Howe has struggled in the last few weeks, it would be foolish to suggest he’s not the right man for the job at Newcastle.
Howe and Jason Tindall have had a huge impact since replacing Steve Bruce, while team captain Kieran Trippier has helped raise the standards.

A vastly experienced player at the top level, it’s easy to see why members of the Newcastle squad would look up to Trippier.
Which brings us to Elliot Anderson.
Kieran Trippier says he’s been speaking to Elliot Anderson about his international future
Indeed, there has been a lot of talk about the 20-year-old of late.
Hugely impressive in pre-season, the academy graduate had been tipped for a big role this season but is yet to start a Premier League game.
Also a subject of debate on the international stage, England manager Gareth Southgate has admitted the FA are looking at Anderson, who remains eligible to represent his country of birth after pulling out of a recent Scotland squad.
Now, Trippier has shared that he’s spoken to Anderson about his international future.
“In pre-season he’s been unbelievable,” he at a press conference on Monday (via Football Daily). “It was good for him last year to stay with us and to not go out on loan again, to gain that experience. He’s a young lad with great potential.
“Obviously, we’ve had talks, but like Gareth said before, he went away with Scotland. Ultimately, that’s his decision. He’s a young lad with great potential, so that decision’s ultimately up to him.”

Anderson still has work to do at Newcastle
Before looking to make an impact on the international stage, Anderson has work to do at Newcastle.
Clearly rated by Howe, he needs to prove he can be a regular first-team option this season, having made just three starts last time out.
Fail to do that and it’s hard to imagine either England or Scotland making the call in any great rush.
