Jacob Ramsey is on course to make his Newcastle United debut against Liverpool next Monday night.
The 24-year-old did not join in time to make his debut against Aston Villa, with Ramsey signing for Newcastle on Sunday.
The deal is now official, with Ramsey ready to get started at St James’ Park.
He is an exciting addition to the Newcastle United squad, and will be eager to get in Eddie Howe’s starting XI as soon as possible.
It remains to be seen how long that will take, with the newest signing likely to be on the bench against Liverpool.

Jacob Ramsey wants to make an ‘impact’ against Liverpool
That is according to the man himself, as Ramsey has discussed making his debut against the Reds during his first official Newcastle United interview.
The midfielder is eager to make a strong first impression, but appears to understand that it will probably have to be as a substitute.
“Playing against this Newcastle team, the fans have been absolutely brilliant,” he said.
“I’m looking forward to that game on Monday. Hopefully I can come on, make an impact and give a good first impression.”

The other Newcastle United players who could debut against Liverpool
Ramsey is poised to make his Newcastle United debut against Liverpool, but he is not the only player who could make his first Toon appearance.
Anthony Elanga made his competitive debut for the Magpies on Saturday, but was the only new signing to feature.
Aaron Ramsdale and Malick Thiaw were unused substitutes, as was youth signing Park Seung-soo. It was a surprise to see the South Korean teenager on the bench at Villa Park, but that is a testament to the ability he has shown since joining.
In truth, the only player out of that trio who is likely to feature against Arne Slot’s side is Thiaw. And if that does happen, it will be off the bench. Dan Burn and Fabian Schar played very well at centre-back in the Premier League opener and will retain their places in the starting XI.
In truth, the most likely Newcastle debutant at St James’ Park is Ramsey.
