Newcastle United head to a buoyant Wolves on Saturday who will be riding a wave of momentum following Raul Jimenez’s first goal since returning from a horror injury.
The Mexican’s goal could ignite Bruno Lage’s tenure and bring consistency to Molineux that hasn’t been seen for a long period of time.
Steve Bruce’s side will be tasked with bringing the West Midlander’s back down to earth, but instead of heading to Molineux fearing a loss, the Magpies have the weapons to hurt Lage’s team.
Wolves are yet to pick up a point or score a Premier League goal at Molineux, so something has got to give on Saturday considering Newcastle remain winless this season.
Unlike, the Wanderers’ other home games against Tottenham and Manchester United, newly-promoted Brentford dominated Wolves.
Bruce should take note of Brenford

Wolves’ three centre backs Max Kilman, captain Conor Coady and Roman Saiss couldn’t deal with the pace, power and talent of Brentford duo Ivan Toney and Bryan Mbeumo.
Toney, the former Toon striker, dominated the Wolves trio physically and forced them to retreat which gave him time to pick out the runs of his strike partner.
With Wolves’ backline not being blessed with blistering pace, there was a sense of panic whenever Toney or Mbeumo isolated the defenders and had space to run into.
The pair both scored in the 2-0 win for Thomas Frank’s side.

The combination of Toney and Mbeumo is something that Newcastle’s Joelinton and Allan Saint-Maximin emulate to devastating effect.
At the weekend, Joelinton won more headers than any other player in the Premier League, so if Bruce deploys the Brazilian maybe closer to Saint-Maximin, Joelinton could dominate Wolves aerially and create chances for Newcastle’s number 10.

Saint-Maximin’s pace, trickery and direct running will already be worrying Lage and his defenders, but if Joelinton can replicate Toney’s imposing physical presence then Saint-Maximin could find himself in those one-on-one situations where he often comes out on top.
Brentford exposed Wolves’ vulnerabilities and Bruce has the players to test whether Lage’s men have learnt from their last home game or not.
If they haven’t then Newcastle could capitalise and punish Wolves.
