There are some names who continue to be linked with a move to Newcastle United.
While the club are touted as a landing spot for all manner of players these days, some of them continue to stick in various reports.
Indeed, Newcastle have recently been linked with Paris Saint-Germain forward, Hugo Ekitike.

The Frenchman stalled on the chance to move to St James’ Park in the summer of 2022 while still a Reims player, instead opting to move to the French capital.
Things haven’t gone to plan since and the 21-year-old has been left out of the club’s Champions League squad, who are due in Newcastle next month.
Freshly linked with a move to the Toon, there has now been a new update.
Hugo Ekitike wants to fight for his place at PSG
According to 90 Min, the Frenchman is eager to stay and fight for his place at the Parc des Princes.
The report says Ekitike is aware of interest from Premier League clubs including Brentford, Everton, West Ham United and Wolves but is not yet ready to give up on his PSG dream.
Still, the player is believed to accept he needs to make an impact and could revisit his situation in December should first-team opportunities still prove hard to come by.

Newcastle clearly see something in Ekitike
Having attempted to sign him in both January 2022 and later that summer, it seems reasonable to assume Newcastle see something in the player.
For that reason and given the success of the recruitment department in the PIF era, the notion of going back in for him perhaps shouldn’t be dismissed out of hand, even if he did snub the club before.
In some ways, its admirable the player is backing himself to try and make an impact at PSG and, as a young Frenchman, certainly understandable.
If there’s a chance to land someone who has previously been a target, however, Newcastle shouldn’t be too proud to not consider it.
