Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe is a shock target for Premier League rivals Tottenham.
Howe has been in charge at Newcastle United since 2021 and has established himself as a legend at the club.
The Newcastle United manager lifted the Carabao Cup back in March, ending the club’s 70-year wait for a major domestic honour.
Howe is a Newcastle United legend and will lead his team back into the Champions League next season, after securing a second qualification for the tournament in three seasons.
As such, Spurs have taken note.

According to BBC Sport, the north London club have considered making a shock move for the former Bournemouth boss.
Spurs are looking for a new manager after sacking Ange Postecoglou despite the fact he ended their own trophy hoodoo by winning the Europa League.
The report adds that the fact Newcastle qualified for the Champions League means a move is unlikely.
On social media platform X, sections of both the Tottenham and Newcastle fanbases laughed off suggestions Howe would leave the Magpies for Spurs.
“Lol. Newcastle are a far more enticing prospect than us. Howe wasn’t going anywhere, regardless of Champions League qualification,” added another fan.
One supporter simply said: “Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.”
“The idea Eddie Howe would consider that move is laughable,” said another.

Owners PIF have been impressed with Howe’s work, and for very good reason indeed.
PIF are set to back Howe in the transfer market this summer, although there is little suggestion they will go out and start spending vast sums of money just yet.
Newcastle struck gold by appointing Howe. Unai Emery rejected the Newcastle job but it’s a decision to have worked out for everyone involved.
Howe has transformed everything about the club. Yes, the investment from the Newcastle United owners helped, but having money to spend is only part of the solution.
It’s absolutely laughable that Spurs even thought they could steal him.
