Newcastle United’s warm weather training camp in Saudi Arabia is over.
The Magpies have spent the past few days training in Riyadh, with Eddie Howe putting his players through their paces in the sweltering Middle East heat at the home of Al-Nassr.
The Newcastle United players who have not been on international duty made the trip to Saudi Arabia, with a reduced group enduring a tough few days to boost their fitness.
The likes of Joelinton, Fabian Schar, Sean Longstaff and Harvey Barnes were part of the trip, as Newcastle trained in Saudi Arabia for the third time since PIF bought the club in 2021.
But the camp is now over, with the Newcastle United players and staff flying back to Tyneside courtesy of club sponsor Saudia Airlines.
Newcastle United’s international players set to return
Once the group land in the North East, preparations for the West Ham United game on November 25th will resume on Tyneside.

Howe has had a smaller group so far during the international break, but the numbers will begin to increase. England’s Nations League games are over, which means Anthony Gordon, Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall will soon be back.
Elsewhere, Sandro Tonali has finished playing for Italy.
The likes of Bruno Guimaraes, Miguel Almiron and Alexander Isak will not return until later in the week, as they prepare to play one more game for Brazil, Paraguay and Sweden respectively.

Newcastle could get double injury boost
As well as the returning internationals, Howe will hope to get some good news on the injury front.
Callum Wilson is yet to play for the Magpies all season, while Kieran Trippier has missed Newcastle’s previous five games with a hamstring injury.
Howe recently said that Trippier will return after the international break, while Wilson is expecting to be fit to face West Ham after continuing his rehab in Qatar earlier this month.
With both players hoping to be available against West Ham, Howe will have his fingers crossed that they are fit enough to take part in training when Newcastle United land back from their trip to Saudi Arabia.
Their impending returns will make Howe’s squad even stronger, with Sven Botman, Jamaal Lascelles and Emil Krafth the only long-term absentees.
