Things are going pretty well for Newcastle United right now.
Having recovered from the blip that took them into the first international break, Eddie Howe’s side are now firing on all cylinders.
They battered Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday night, reaching a new level for the club.

Newcastle continue on the upward trajectory October 2021’s takeover set them on, with pretty much all of the signings made hitting the ground running. The players Howe inherited, meanwhile, continue to raise their game too.
Indeed, as exciting as the present is for the club, the future looks pretty good too.
Eddie Howe addresses Yankuba Minteh’s form at Feyenoord
Yankuba Minteh looks one for the future.
The 19-year-old joined the club from Belgian side OB this summer before joining Dutch giants Feyenoord on loan.
While there, the Gambian has enjoyed a productive start to the season. Playing predominately as either a striker or a right winger, the teenager has scored three goals and registered one assist in seven games thus far.
Speaking on his development, Howe said (via Newcastle World): “He’s started really well, I’m really, really pleased.
“Whenever a player goes on loan, the expectation is that they learn and develop their game and he’s certainly learning and developing.
“He’s scoring goals playing in a good team in a good league so really pleased.”

One to watch in the future
Miguel Almiron continues to dazzle on the right side of the attacking three but cannot go on forever. Jacob Murphy, meanwhile, is a useful option off the bench but has rarely seemed a consistent starter even despite his renaissance under Howe.
Minteh, then, has a real chance at Newcastle. While it would require a huge step up in level, the early signs are promising.
Perhaps we’ll get to see him in black and white next season.
