Newcastle United players have celebrated their historic Carabao Cup win worldwide since their Wembley triumph.
The Magpies ended an agonising 70-year wait for a domestic trophy by beating Liverpool 2-1. Alexander Isak scored what proved to be the winner in the game, but local defender Dan Burn well and truly stole the headlines.
Burn scored Newcastle United’s first Wembley goal since 2000 with a sensational header on the edge of the box, allowing fans in the ground and watching around the world to believe that 2025 was the year the trophy drought would finally come to an end.
His goal was one that even Liverpool staff were shocked at. Arne Slot was shocked at Burn’s goal, admitting he had never seen a header like that scored before.
The 32-year-old missed Newcastle’s trophy celebrations in Dubai due to the fact that he received his first England call-up from new Three Lions boss Thomas Tuchel. Burn had a successful England debut before watching their 3-0 win against Latvia from the bench.
Now that Burn is back from international duty, he has had the time to relax and properly celebrate the win. He has now been spotted continuing his celebrations alongside other Newcastle stars.

Dan Burn spotted at Premier League darts with Newcastle players
Burn will be part of Newcastle’s trophy parade on Saturday, where fans will be able to ‘meet the cup’ and see the players up close as they embark on an open-top bus tour through the city.
The Magpies don’t play a competitive fixture until April 2nd, so the players are taking all the time possible before focusing on the Premier League again.
However, on Thursday night, Burn and several other Newcastle players had their focus on another Premier League when the PDC darts came to Newcastle’s Utilita Arena.
At one point in the event, Burn was spotted on camera alongside Kieran Trippier, Harvey Barnes, Sean Longstaff, John Ruddy and Matt Targett.
Burn’s presence was met with cheers from the thousands of passionate Newcastle fans in the building, as chants of ‘He’s from Blyth’ began to echo around the arena.
The Newcastle stars aren’t the only club figures who have kept the celebrations going since that day at Wembley. Alan Shearer partied alongside Sam Fender at his gig in Amsterdam a few days after the historic win, there are murmers that Fender could be at Newcastle’s trophy celebrations as a special guest.

Chris Dobey pays Newcastle United tribute at PDC Darts
Bedlington-born darts star and huge Newcastle fan Chris Dobey was named in the PDC’s eight-man Premier League line-up this year, having missed out in 2024.
The 34-year-old made a triumphant return to the Utilita Arena on Thursday night and was backed by fan group Wor Flags who put on a moving display during his walk-on.
Dobey usually walks on to DJ and Duncan (Ant and Dec’s) ‘Let’s Get Ready to Rumble’. However, Dobey opted to walk on to Mark Knopfler’s ‘Local Hero’, Newcastle’s club anthem, which is heart at every game at St James’ Park.
The PDC World number nine wasn’t able to get the win over former World Champion Luke Humphries, but it is a moment that he or any Newcastle fan will forget in a hurry.
Dobey currently sits seventh in the Premier League table, seven points off the play-off spots, which would see him enter the tournament’s finals night in London.
