Dan Burn has joked he and Ryan Fraser are often in close proximity to one another as it gives the Newcastle fans what they want.
The January signing from Brighton gave a brief word to the club’s official website today about the fact he is always with the Scotland international when the cameras are around.

Burn stands at an imposing 6ft 7in tall, making him one of the tallest players in the Premier League.
Winger Fraser is 5ft 4in, making him one of the shortest in the top-flight.
Burn joked: “I love Ryan, he’s a great guy. I think it’s more, now, that we’re doing it because that’s what the fans want so.
“We’ve picked up some good results, so I think we’re always going to keep doing that line up where I come out behind him.
“It’s a bit of comedy and everyone loves it so, I’m sure by the end of the season I’ll go out holding his hand or he’ll be on my back or something.”
It’s something that doesn’t really have any business being as funny as it. But Burn is right – it certainly gives many fans what they want.
Currently, Burn and Fraser are two of the best performing players in the Newcastle starting XI.
Burn has made a mighty difference to the Magpies’ backline. He recently replaced Jamaal Lascelles and has forged a great partnership with Eddie Howe.
And £42,000-a-week star Fraser is finally looking like the great signing many though he would be when he joined after his contract expired at Bournemouth.
He has just been named on the shortlist for the February Player of the Month.
Dan Burn seems to have settled at Newcastle instantly
It is good to see Burn having struck up a good friendship with Fraser.
The defender appears to have settled really quickly at the club, and has immediately hit the ground running.
That is exactly what Newcastle hoped for, and Howe will hope he can sustain this high level.

Burn has already become a real hit with the Geordie faithful.
And hopefully this thing of Burn walking out for matches behind Fraser can continue being the weird lucky charm that it is.
