Callum Wilson is yet to play a game for Newcastle United in 2022 but he has been photographed in a gym training session with the squad.
Newcastle posted photos on their official website of the players gearing up for the clash with Everton and Wilson was pictured.
Wilson has not played since the game against Manchester United during the festive period and that meant Newcastle had to go out and sign Chris Wood.

His is one of a number of injuries which Eddie Howe’s side have to deal with but their momentum has seen results continue to improve regardless.
It is not clear when Wilson will actually be fit to play again and the next step is presumably for him to be pictured out on the grass with the team.
‘Outstanding’ Wilson’s return will be a major boost to Howe and the rest of the players, but it is also important not to rush him.

Federico Fernandez was also pictured in the session, along with Isaac Hayden as they both continue their rehabiliation.
Hayden is of course not in Newcastle’s 25-man Premier League squad since January and he will have his sights set on next season.
Argentine Fernandez was on the bench for the games against West Ham and Brentford recently but is yet to play a league game since the 1-0 win over Burnley in December.
