We saw on Saturday that Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes already have chemistry together on the pitch for Newcastle United.
Alongside Joelinton, they dominated the midfield battle against Aston Villa, as the Magpies won 5-1 to go top of the Premier League.
It was the perfect start for Eddie Howe’s side, and the perfect start for Tonali. He has been praised by anyone and everyone following the game, and even drew comparisons to Bruno from his manager.
But while he is immediately shining on the pitch, Tonali is still getting to grips with life on Tyneside. He is learning English, while he has also engrossed himself in the cuisine. David Ginola gave him a sausage roll, while he also booked himself a table at Wetherspoons!
As the 23-year-old adapts to living in Newcastle and begins to get to know his teammates, one of his midfield partners is making a real effort to make him feel welcome.

Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali game online together with West Ham star
Bruno and Tonali sat together during the flight to America during pre-season, while they also socialised together over there.
Now the socialising is continuing, but online.
Newcastle’s Brazilian superstar shared a picture to his Instagram story on Wednesday night of him online gaming with friends. And those friends just so happened to be international teammate Lucas Paqueta and his midfield partner Tonali.

I will be honest, I can’t figure out what they are playing, but that is not the point. The point is that they are playing together, and have clearly struck up a relationship away from the football pitch.
That will only help the harmony behind the scenes, and help Tonali feel welcome at Newcastle United. In turn, that should lead to even better performances – although that is hard to imagine after his Aston Villa masterclass!
