Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes impressed against Chelsea after completing his first 90 minutes in the Premier League.
The 24-year-old started his second Premier League game in the space of four days, following his first start in the top-flight which saw the Brazilian score the winner against Southampton.
Eddie Howe may not have started the Brazilian international at Stamford Bridge had Joe Willock, Jonjo Shelvey and Joelinton been available.
But the trio missed the controversial 1-0 defeat to the reigning European and world champions and Guimaraes started alongside Sean Longstaff in a midfield two.

Coming up against the energetic N’Golo Kante, the former Lyon man didn’t waver and instead seemingly looked to get stronger as the game wore on.
Guimaraes relished the battle against the World Cup winner and the European Championship winner Jorginho.
Newcastle’s number 39 was snapping into tackles and matched Kante’s intensity and looks to be quickly acclimatising to the frantic pace and physical rigours of English football.
With every passing outing our midfield marvel gets, he’s only going to get better and better.

No Magpies player made more tackles against the Blues than Guimaraes (4) and the Selecao midfielder registered the same amount of tackles as Kante, according to WhoScored.
Showing his industry and battling qualities, Guimaraes won 11 of his 18 ground duels, according to SofaScore.
Not even Kante (9 ground duels won) could match Guimaraes in that specific category, in fact no player from either side won more duels than the more who has been capped four times by Brazil.

With a clash against Everton at Goodison Park looming on Thursday, Guimaraes will be hoping to make it three consecutive starts in the Premier League.
Bruno Guimaraes’s star quality on the ball was never going to be questioned, but it’s very encouraging to see how industrious he is without the ball and that’s testament to Eddie Howe slowly building him up to speed in the Premier League.
