Some Newcastle United fans are certain they want Amanda Staveley as owner amid the ongoing takeover saga.
A lot of supporters have wanted that ever since she emerged on the scene in 2017.
She first tried to buy the club four years ago when Rafa Benitez was manager, but was unsuccessful.
Staveley returned in 2020, backed by the Reuben Brothers and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia.
Suddenly money was no longer an issue and a deal was agreed. All that was needed was approval from the Premier League.

Sadly, that approval never came, and now we are awaiting results of Mike Ashley’s legal battle against the Premier League as he aims to resurrect a deal.
The club released a statement last week, asking the Premier League to agree to allowing the arbitration hearing to be held in public.
Staveley has also been asking for transparency, contacting MPs and conducting interviews.
Staveley speaks
The financier first spoke to Sky Sports News on Monday, and now she has conducted an interview with ITV.
Staveley has once again spoken very well about the club and the region, reinforcing why fans are desperate for her to be owner of Newcastle United.

“Ultimately, this is the fans’ club,” she told ITV.
“If we are privileged enough to acquire it, we are there as custodians.
“Ultimately, the owners will always be the fans so that’s important that they get to see what’s going on in the next few months.”
We’ve seen more passion in the past few days from Staveley than we have in 14 years of Mike Ashley being owner.
As one fan said on Twitter, she just gets it.
Staveley doesn’t just want to improve the football club, she wants to improve the region, and that’s why this deal is so important.
Staveley is offering Newcastle United hope. She is offering the north east hope, but the Premier League are stopping it becoming a reality.
