The Newcastle takeover saga is heating up, after Amanda Staveley conducted an interview on Sky Sports News.
It’s been a big few days for the Magpies, which all started with the club’s statement on July 1st.
With arbitration set to take place this month, the club have implored the Premier League to allow the hearing to be held in public.
Their argument is that fans deserve transparency, and if the Premier League have acted ‘lawfully and properly’ then they should have nothing to hide.

Pressure continued to rise at the weekend, as Staveley sent a letter to Tracey Crouch MP, calling on the government to intervene.
In response to the letter, Crouch told Staveley to instead contact either Oliver Dowdon or Nigel Huddleston. The former is the Secretary of State for Digital, Media and Sport, while the latter is the Minister of Sport.
Pressure mounts on the Premier League as Staveley speaks
Now the club have hit the mainstream media, with Staveley sitting down for an interview with David Craig on Sky Sports News.
The wannabe Toon owner called for transparency once again, and sympathised with Mike Ashley and his attempts to sell the club.
But, more importantly, she reaffirmed her desire to buy Newcastle United.
While a lot of supporters are asking what this means for the ongoing takeover saga, some fans have a different question: Where on earth was the interview being filmed?

Staveley seemed to be in a tiny room – was it just a cupboard, or even a bathroom?
There was even a stranger passing in the background – another funny moment in what was an exciting interview.
Staveley is once again saying all the right things, but it remains to be seen if it will all be in vein.
