Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak managed to score 10 goals in his debut season on Tyneside, and now he has even more exciting players to create chances for him.
The Magpies have spent almost £100million on reinforcements this summer, as Eddie Howe looks to bolster his squad ahead of competing in the Champions League.
The first to arrive was Sandro Tonali. He cost £55million from AC Milan, becoming the club’s second most expensive signing ever behind Isak.
He has made a strong first impression, and dazzled supporters during his debut appearance against Rangers.
The Italian has now been joined at St James’ Park by Harvey Barnes. His move from Leicester City was made official at the weekend, and the 25-year-old has been getting to know his new teammates out in America.

Both players massively enhance Howe’s squad, and now Isak has given his verdict on Newcastle’s summer transfer business so far.
Alexander Isak delighted with Newcastle’s two new signings
The 23-year-old has spoke to NUFC TV during the club’s trip to America, and was asked for his thoughts on the signings of Tonali and Barnes.
“It’s two great players,” he said.
“I’m sure that they’re going to help the team be successful. We already had a strong team and with the additions that we have had this summer so far, I think it can only get better.”
Isak and Barnes could combine brilliantly
Isak believes Newcastle’s two new additions improve the squad, which is very exciting considering how strong we were last season.

The prospect of seeing Isak and Barnes play together is particularly tantalising, as the £38million man makes Newcastle’s forward line even quicker than it was before.
Barnes is absolutely rapid, and that is going to make him very dangerous in a Toon shirt.
But Isak is no slouch either, and used his pace to great effect last season to get in behind defences. That should suit Barnes, who has experience of playing alongside speedy strikers. He has spent his entire Premier League career playing alongside Jamie Vardy, and they had great chemistry.
If Barnes can forge that type of relationship with Isak then they should prove to be a match made in heaven.
