We have seen some iconic celebrations at Newcastle United over the years, and now Alexander Isak has given his view on who has the best right now.

From flips and summersaults to just one arm in the air, Newcastle fans have witnessed their fair share of brilliant celebrations in years gone by.

That is still the case today, with some of Eddie Howe’s players having their own trademark whenever they hit the back of the net. Callum Wilson always signs off his goals with a salute, while we get a slam dunk from Joe Willock whenever he scores.

They are both excellent celebrations, but they do not get top spot according to Alexander Isak.

Instead, the club record signing believes that the player with the best celebration at Newcastle United is Bruno Guimaraes.

Alexander Isak says Bruno Guimaraes has the best celebration at Newcastle

Isak has spoke to the Premier League’s official YouTube channel, and was asked to name the player with the best celebration at Newcastle United.

“Bruno,” he answered.

“He had a game last season where he made almost 10 goal celebrations for one goal.”

Bruno’s celebration against Brighton was hilarious

Isak is referring to the aftermath of Bruno’s goal against Brighton at the end of last season. The Magpies won 4-1 to put themselves on the brink of Champions League qualification, leading to wild scenes inside St James’ Park.

Bruno scored Newcastle’s fourth and final goal that night, and his celebration epitomised the party mood that had taken over Tyneside.

The 25-year-old tried to cram as many different celebrations in as possible. He had his fingers in his ears like Ayoze Perez, then he cupped one ear as if he was Hulk Hogan. There was also a knee slide, a heart symbol and a point to the badge, before turning around and reminding everyone of the name on the back of his shirt.

Watching the celebration back, it’s hilarious. So many celebrations for what was effectively a tap in.

But Isak thinks it is the best celebration at Newcastle right now, and who are we to argue with the super Swede.
