This weekend’s Carabao Cup celebrations have started early for the Newcastle United players.

The Newcastle United squad are set to party with the Toon Army on Saturday, as the club descends on the Town Moor to celebrate ending their trophy drought.

Eddie Howe and his players are set to take part in an open-top bus parade through the streets of the city before arriving at the Town Moor, where they will be presented to supporters.

It should be an incredible spectacle, while there is a rumour that Sam Fender could perform. However, it is only a rumour at this stage, with the North Shields star initially turning down an offer to be involved.

Joelinton celebrates Carabao Cup win in Brazil

Saturday should be one big party, but the festivities started early in Brazil.

Joelinton has been back in South America, representing Brazil during the international break. He won two caps for his country, but Joelinton’s performances were criticised.

But that will not keep the £40million man down, as he celebrates being a trophy winner with Newcastle United.

Joelinton was Newcastle’s best player in the final, and the 28-year-old has hosted a party with his friends and family after winning the cup. He posed with his medal and a black and white scarf, while he was surrounded by pictures from Newcastle’s triumph at Wembley.

A video from the party was posted to Instagram, as Joelinton gets set to do it all again with his teammates at the Town Moor on Saturday.

Newcastle United stars watch darts champion Luke Littler shine

While Joelinton has been partying in the Brazilian sun, many of his teammates enjoyed a night at the darts.

Premier League Darts was in Newcastle on Thursday night, as Luke Littler and Luke Humphries competed at the Utilita Arena alongside local hero Chris Dobey.

They were watched on by multiple Newcastle United players, with Dan Burn, Kieran Trippier, Harvey Barnes, Sean Longstaff and Matt Targett all in attendance.

The night was won by world champion Luke Littler, who is top of the league after eight events.
