Newcastle United are preparing for a hat-trick of huge games, culminating with Manchester United heading to St James’ Park on December 2nd.
The Magpies are right back in the thick of it after the international break, as they take on Chelsea on Saturday. After that it is Paris Saint-Germain away in the Champions League.
Then, if things couldn’t be any tougher, it is Man United at home in the Premier League underneath the lights at St James’ Park. It should be a raucous atmosphere given the time of the game (8pm kickoff) and the opponent, but it will come at the end of a really challenging week.
It is going to be a busy week for Man United too. They face Everton at the weekend before a trip to Galatasaray in the Champions League.
And while Newcastle are in the middle of an injury crisis, Man United are preparing to welcome back a key player ahead of their busy winter period – and he looks set to be available when the Red Devils head to the North East.

Luke Shaw returns from injury ahead of Man United facing Newcastle
Manchester United have received an injury boost following the end of the international break, with Luke Shaw back in training.
The £30million defender has been out of action for three months with a muscle injury, having only managed to make two appearances so far this season.
But he should add to that tally during the next week or so. He is back in full training, and Man United have three important games.
Given that they face Newcastle in game three, you would imagine that Shaw will be back in the side by then.
Shaw’s return will be a boost for Erik ten Hag, while it makes our left-back woes even more painful. Dan Burn and Matt Targett are out of action with injury, but Eddie Howe will at least be able to include Lewis Hall in his side.
The youngster is ineligible to face Chelsea on Saturday due to the terms of his loan, but he will be available for the Man United game.
