Team news

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has selected a 29-man-squad for his side’s trip to Japan.

Italian star Sandro Tonali has been included in Newcastle’s Japan squad, the midfielder however is unable to compete in either friendly due to his current suspension

The Magpies will also be without Kieron Trippier and Anthony Gordon as the pair enjoy extended breaks following England’s run to the final of Euro 2024.

Sean Longstaff, Lloyd Kelly and Joe Willock have all been included in the squad despite missing the game against Hull City last week through injury.
