Newcastle’s most high-profile signing of the summer has been the acquisition of Lewis Hall, who joins the Magpies permanently after spending last season on loan from Chelsea.

Hall will be joined in defence by Lloyd Kelly who arrives from Bournemouth on a free transfer – linking back up with his former Cherries boss Howe.

The Magpies have also bolstered their goalkeeping ranks with the signings of Odysseas Vlachodimos and John Ruddy – who will both challenge Nick Pope for the number-one jersey.

Newcastle have also added a number of youngsters to their ranks with the exciting William Osula joining from Sheffield United and the highly rated Miodrag Pivas arriving from his native home of Serbia.
