Newcastle United could be handed a major injury boost ahead of Sunday’s Premier League trip to West Ham.
Lewis Hall could return from injury for Newcastle’s game against West Ham after the England international suffered a hamstring injury last month.
Hall has missed the last five games for Newcastle United and has so far been unable to build on last season’s breakout campaign.
The 21-year-old was brilliant last year but saw his campaign ended prematurely by a foot injury and has only made two starts this season.
The England international could return for West Ham vs Newcastle, although he’s not the only player with a slight doubt lingering over him.

Newcastle United confirmed team news vs West Ham
Eddie Howe has confirmed that striker William Osula is still dealing with a slight ankle problem.
The Dane has come off the bench in Newcastle’s last two games but may still not be fit enough to start.
Elsewhere, the Newcastle United squad are thought to have avoided any fresh injuries following Wednesday’s Carabao Cup win over Tottenham.
“No fresh injuries,” said the Newcastle United manager.
“We are still managing Will Osula’s ankle – we will see how he is today. But apart from that, we are as we were.”
Newcastle United injury latest vs West Ham
Yoane Wissa and Tino Livramento are still injured for Newcastle with knee problems.
Livramento could play for Newcastle after this month’s international break, while Wissa’s return date is slightly less clear.
Of Livramento, Howe recently said: “Tino is still on track, we are looking at the Manchester City game for him for when he can be available for.”
On Friday, Howe revealed that Wissa is not close to returning from injury for Newcastle.
“I don’t know when the moment will be that he’s back with the squad,” he said.

Given Hall’s injury problems of late, it seems unlikely he will oust Dan Burn from Newcastle’s starting lineup even if he does return.
With Osula a slight doubt, Nick Woltemade will almost certainly start up front.
All of Nick Pope, Kieran Trippier, Sven Botman, Anthony Gordon, Bruno Guimaraes, Jacob Murphy and Joelinton are expected to come back into the team after they were largely rested in midweek.
