Newcastle United are back in Premier League action on Saturday when they host a struggling Burnley side at St James’ Park.

Indeed, Newcastle United drew 2-2 with Tottenham on Tuesday as they dropped yet more points from a winning position.
Now, Eddie Howe’s side must dust themselves down. They entertain a Burnley side struggling towards the bottom end of the Premier League table and simply must win.

Nick Pope is injured for Newcastle, which should mean that Aaron Ramsdale continues in goal for Howe’s side.
Howe has confirmed that Yoane Wissa could be in the squad, which is a major boost for the club.
Sandro Tonali picked up a knock against Spurs and will need to be assessed.
William Osula, Kieran Trippier, Emil Krafth and Sven Botman are all injured.
For the Clarets, Hannibal Mejbri is suspended. Jordan Beyer, Connor Roberts, Zeki Amdouni and Axel Tuanzebe are all injured.

It’s difficult not to see Newcastle claiming three points here. They may not fully convince just yet but the Clarets are in a real relegation fight right now.
