Newcastle United left it late but were able to come from behind to beat Wolves 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.
It looked as though Newcastle United would end their trip to Molineux in misery, but two late goals from Fabian Schar and Harvey Barnes maintained the unbeaten start to the season.
Eddie Howe inspired the comeback by reacting to the poor first-half performance with a triple change at the break.
Schar’s deflected strike injected life into Newcastle and just five minutes later “magnificent Barnes curled in a superb effort to put the visitors into the lead.
Newcastle have now climbed up to third in the Premier League table ahead of Saturday’s trip to Fulham.

Jamie Reuben praises ‘incredible’ Newcastle duo
After the remarkable comeback, Newcastle co-owner Jamie Reuben took to social media to wish the travelling supporters a safe journey home.
Via X, formerly known as Twitter, Reuben also praised both Schar and Barnes for their “incredible” goals.
“Two incredible goals @fabianschaer @harveybarnes97 – thank you to our travelling supporters, safe trip home @NUFC” posted Reuben.
Newcastle United must kick on from Wolves win
It is quite remarkable but Newcastle find themselves third without really putting in a good performance in any of their league games so far.
But the fact that they are picking up vital points even while not playing amazingly is a great sign for this season.

Newcastle are firmly putting themselves in the race for a top-four finish and performance levels should only increase from here on out.
Plus, once European fixtures kick in, Newcastle’s rivals may drop off and Howe’s side will have a great chance of putting a run together.
