Newcastle United take on Brentford in an important Premier League fixture this weekend and here’s how to tune in.
While Newcastle United have been going great guns in the Champions League after the 2-0 win over Club Athletic on Wednesday, their domestic form has been patchy.
Eddie Howe’s side lost to struggling West Ham last weekend and find themselves languishing in the bottom half after a tricky start to the Premier League campaign.
Improvements are urgently needed if Newcastle are to climb back up the table and not fall behind in the race for a Champions League place, and they could do with starting on the weekend against Brentford.
Here’s everything you need to know about the fixture.

Brentford vs Newcastle United team news
Newcastle’s win on Wednesday was not without casualties.
William Osula had to withdraw from the squad before kick-off due to an ankle complaint, while Anthony Gordon was taken off in the first half as his hip injury flared up again. Both are expected to miss the match.
Tino Livramento and Yoane Wissa, who misses the chance to play against his former club, remain sidelined.
Lewis Hall did return to action on Wednesday but it looks like he is not yet fit enough yet to start.
Brentford, meanwhile, are without Antoni Milambo and Joshua Dasilva, while Benjamin Arthur is a doubt.

Prediction
Even though they won on Wednesday, the performance was still underwhelming. Newcastle have looked sloppy in possession and lacked their thrilling cutting edge going forward.
Brentford are not the team you want to be facing when you’re in a rut, as the combative and athletic Londoners can put you under real pressure. A draw seems more realistic than a win at present.
Prediction: Brentford 1-1 Newcastle United.
