Newcastle United head all the way down to Bournemouth as they look for their second Premier League win of the season.

Last time out, Newcastle United beat Wolves to get their Premier League campaign up and running at long last.

Nick Woltemade scored on his debut for Eddie Howe’s side but the challenge is to follow that up down on the south coast.

On Thursday, meanwhile, Newcastle lost 2-1 to Barcelona in the Champions League.

Sunday’s opponents Bournemouth are in fine form, too. They’ve won all three games since suffering a defeat to Liverpool on the opening day and have never lost a Premier League game to Newcastle during the Howe era.

Here’s everything you need to know about where to watch the game.

Newcastle United’s record away at Bournemouth

Bournemouth has not been a particularly happy hunting ground for Newcastle over the years.

While it’s been an even contest throughout history (each team have won seven times, with their other seven meetings ending in a draw), Newcastle haven’t won away at the Cherries since 2020.

That was a 4-1 victory behind closed doors during the final few days of Howe’s tenure with the club.

Hopefully, the Magpies can turn things around on Sunday, but their chances look relatively slim.

Bournemouth are one of the Premier League’s form teams right now and will be much fresher than Newcastle given they have no European football this season.
