The Newcastle United line-up for this afternoon’s huge clash with Burnley has been announced.
Newcastle are still looking for their win of the season in all competitions in their first game of December.
Eddie Howe will be looking for the same spirit his side showed in the 1-1 draw with Norwich in midweek with ten men for much of the game.
Here is how Howe will line his side up in the crucial game…
You can see how the starting eleven compares to our predicted lineup here.
The big news is Miguel Almiron gets a start in place of Ryan Fraser, who started the clash with Norwich but was substituted when Ciaran Clark was sent off.
Captain Jamaal Lascelles is back from suspension and starts, while fellow returnee Matt Ritchie has to settle for a place on the bench.
It looks like a 4-2-3-1 formation from Howe but the personnel he has selected allows for flexibility in his approach.
