Eddie Howe has selected his Newcastle United starting eleven for the clash with Brighton at St James’ Park this afternoon.
The match sees the Magpies looking to make it eight Premier League games in a row without defeat after last weekend’s 2-0 win at Brentford.
Eddie Howe will be looking to continue that momentum and an extension of the performance last time out on what is another huge afternoon in the relegation battle.
Here is how Howe has lined his side up for the game…
You can see how the team Howe has selected compares to our predicted XI for the match here.
The big news is Allan Saint-Maximin is back on the bench after a period out of the side with injury since the 1-0 win over Aston Villa.
Bruno Guimaraes also has to wait a little longer for his first Premier League start as he is once again on the bench for this one.

Howe will be looking to continue the momentum generated by recent victories and the midfield balance has been a big part of that.
Newcastle are on better form than Brighton and that makes this a winnable game in front of a noisy St James’ Park.
And having Saint-Maximin and Bruno to bring off the bench against tiring legs is an exciting prospect for Howe, if he needs it.
