The Newcastle United line-up for this afternoon’s clash with Brentford has been announced.

The match sees the Magpies looking to make it seven Premier League games in a row without defeat after last weekend’s 1-1 draw with West Ham.

Eddie Howe will be looking to continue that momentum and an extension of the performance last time out on what is another huge afternoon in the relegation battle.

Here is how Howe has lined his side up for the game…

The big news is it is an unchanged since for Eddie Howe from the one which earned the draw last weekend.

That means Allan Saint-Maximin is still not fit to return from the injury which kept him out of that game.

It also means Bruno Guimaraes has to wait a little longer for his first Premier League start, with Howe seemingly unwilling to change a winning team.

Javier Manquillo is fit enough to return to the bench having also missed the game against West Ham through injury.

There is real momentum about Newcastle now and if they replicate their level of performance from last week, they are more than capable of getting a result.

Brentford will be up for it though and Christian Eriksen has been named among the substitutes for them ahead of a potential debut and return after his serious issue at Euro 2020.
