While his agent was checking out St James’ Park on Saturday, Valentino Lazaro was preparing for another important Serie A game with Inter Milan.
Lazaro’s agent, Max Hagmayr, posted multiple pictures on his Instagram story at the game against Chelsea. However, he wasn’t the gentlemen who got a corner flag to the groin courtesy of Matt Ritchie.

But Lazaro is still an Inter Milan player, but failed to get on the pitch on Sunday. Antonio Conte’s side took on Lecce, but squandered a 1-0 lead to drop points in the title race.

The 23-year-old has struggled to impress Conte, leading to talk of a move away from the San Siro. Hopefully he’ll be a better fit at Newcastle, who seem all but certain to conclude a deal for the right midfielder.
Lazaro not featuring against Lecce is actually a good thing. It would have been just our luck for him to come on and get injured. But the fact that he was named as a substitute suggests that a deal might not be as imminent as we think.
