Newcastle United are interested in three players from Chelsea, but it is believed Hakim Ziyech is the most ‘gettable’.

That’s according to The Telegraph, who also previously revealed the Magpies have been eyeing a triple swoop for Ziyech, Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

As per their latest report, although all three have featured prominently in talks, the Morocco international has been identified as the most ‘gettable’ this month.

Eddie Howe’s side like Loftus-Cheek as he can play at right-back, in addition to his usual position in the midfield.

Furthermore, they have also tried to sign Gallagher twice in the past, but sadly to no avail.

Instead, they now deem the 29-year-old winger as the most realistic signing.

Newcastle could sign Ziyech

The Magpies have been searching for a winger to bring in since the summer, and it now appears they may have set their sights on the Chelsea man.

Ziyech has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge this term, having only started three times in the Premier League.

As a result of coming off the bench the majority of the time, his record with the west London club is nowhere near comparable to his previous record at Ajax.

In 97 matches for the Blues, the Moroccan has bagged 14 goals and 11 assists. Whereas, in 165 games in the Netherlands, he amassed an extremely impressive total of 49 goals and 81 assists.

Despite this, the attacker has been in form over the past few months.

At the World Cup with Morocco, he helped lead the team all the way to the semi-finals. He played near every minute of the competition for Walid Regragui’s side.

Nicknamed ‘The Wizard‘ by Ajax fans during his time in Amsterdam, Ziyech certainly has the talent needed to continue performing in the Premier League.

However, this move could be a risk for Newcastle, as he hasn’t excelled during his spell with Chelsea.
