Newcastle United potentially face a real battle to land Sasa Kalajdzic, with Borussia Dortmund reportedly now interested in the striker.
The Daily Mail have cited Kicker in Germany, which claims the Bundesliga outfit are looking at the Stuttgart hitman, who has scored 14 goals so far this season.

Apparently, Dortmund are looking at potential striker incomings due to interest in Erling Haaland, who is valued at a whopping £154 million (via Daily Mail).
The Norwegian superstar is being heavily linked with an exit from the club this summer.
Dortmund look like they could struggle to finish in the Champions League places, and selling their talisman is not out of the question – Manchester City appear to be the most talked-about side in terms of the player’s next destination.

It’s explained that Dortmund are keeping tabs on Kalajdzic – which might complicate things for Newcastle.
It was claimed by TuttoJuve last month that the Magpies were interested in signing the 6ft 5in ace.
A tall order for Newcastle
Any deal for Kalajdzic will be difficult this summer for Newcastle.
First and foremost, the club needs to stay in the Premier League.

Despite their struggles this season, Dortmund remains a very attractive club to join these days.
The thought of becoming a potential Haaland replacement may greatly appeal to Kalajdzic, who is obviously already playing in the Bundesliga and will be settled in Germany having been there since the summer of 2019.
