Newcastle United’s interest in Omar Colley has again been pushed today.
According to SampNews24, the Magpies are monitoring the centre-back, who could well leave this summer.

Colley did actually only sign a new contract in January.
But, despite that, the outlet claims his future is uncertain.
West Ham United and Leeds United are also said to be circling.
Apparently, Sampdoria only value Colley at at least £8.5 million.
That figure seems fairly low for someone who only recently signed a new contract and has been a consistent performer in Serie A for the past few years.

Interestingly, it was reported by Tuttomercatoweb that Sampdoria are keen to sign striker Patrick Cutrone from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
But in order to do so, they must first sell a player from their squad.
Perhaps that individual could be Colley.
Newcastle have been linked with the Gambia international quite a few times in the past months. TMW claimed last September that Newcastle were keeping an eye on him.
Newcastle won’t move for Colley
It’s getting to the point now where Newcastle really need to get some new faces in and embedded.
The club have already missed out on Kris Ajer who has joined Brentford.

Colley would make a great addition, but the likelihood is that his age will probably be an issue.
At 28 he is certainly not old, but Steve Bruce’s current options are mostly all in and around the age of 30.
