Bournemouth have now had a bid accepted by AS Roma to sign attacking-midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
As per the report, the Cherries have reached an agreement with Jose Mourinho’s side over the 23-year-old, who was also subject to interest from Newcastle United.
Last week, Corriere Della Sera claimed the Magpies had asked for information about the Italy international, over a prospective transfer for the summer.

However, the Toon’s interest will now have to cease.
Gianluca Di Marzio report that Bournemouth have bid £26.4m for Zaniolo, plus add-ons, in addition to a 10% sell-on clause. This offer has been accepted by Roma.
AC Milan are also keen on landing the player. However, if they are unable to come to an agreement with their Serie A rivals, then the attacker will have a decision to make surrounding Gary O’Neil’s side.
Newcastle set to miss out on Zaniolo
In 17 appearances this season, the 23-year-old has amassed two goals and three assists.
Although he hasn’t been that prolific in front of goal, the Roma ace has been a versatile asset to Mourinho, having played as a centre-forward, a second striker and as an attacking midfielder.
Known for his technical talent and great physicality, Zaniolo’s abilities have never been in question.
Instead, worries have always emerged regarding his injury history. The youngster has already suffered two separate cruciate ligament ruptures, which have kept him out for almost a year-and-a-half.

Newcastle need to add a reliable attacker to their squad for greater depth.
However, with these injury risks, Zaniolo will never be able to guarantee the Toon his full fitness.
Therefore, Eddie Howe is probably right to pass up the chance to sign the Italian – despite his obvious talent.
