Arsenal could reportedly demand a premium price for Joe Willock, as the midfielder continues to shine on loan at Newcastle United.

The 21-year-old has been a breath of fresh air at St. James’ Park since his arrival in January.

Willock has not always started under Steve Bruce, but his contributions have been plentiful.

He’s scored four goals so far, three of those coming in the last three matches.

His latest was a last-gasp equaliser against Liverpool, which earned the Magpies a very valuable point.

Naturally, this superb form has prompted plenty of clamour from Newcastle fans for him to be signed permanently.

But the Mirror have today brought a slightly worrying report, which claims Arsenal could hike Willock’s price.

A first option to buy was never negotiated, meaning Willock’s form could actually end up pricing Newcastle out of a move.

So Newcastle

The fact an option to buy clause was never negotiated really is so Newcastle.

Willock is an exciting young talent, so the club should definitely have spoken with Arsenal about a potential permanent deal.

The fact the club didn’t just suggests how much of a scramble it was merely getting him in on loan.
