Newcastle United may need to shop in younger markets going forward.
Indeed, with PSR issues said to be limiting what kind of money Newcastle can spend, the signing of young players may help.
Developing burgeoning talents and either having them in the first-team going forward or eventually selling them on seems a wise move.
The bulk of Newcastle’s signings in the PIF era have been younger players and it’s a strategy also employed by the likes of Chelsea. Given their success this season, it’s perhaps something to consider – even if their transfer policy this summer was widely criticised before a ball was kicked.
It is something the club have done recently, too. Yankuba Minteh was sold at a huge profit even if Eddie Howe didn’t want to lose the forward, while Miodrag Pivas arrived before being sent out on loan to Willem II. Vakhtang Salia is another exciting youngster on his way to the club.

Now, another young player by the name of Alvyn Sanches is said to be on Newcastle’s radar.
Newcastle want to sign exciting youngster Alvyn Sanches
According to Corriere dello Sport, Newcastle are among the clubs tracking the 21-year-old attacking midfielder.
Sanches was born in France but represents Switzerland at international youth level and plays for Swiss Super League side Lausanne, who are owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the INEOS group.
It is also claimed that Lazio and Fiorentina are interested in the player, who will reportedly cost up to £7.4million.
Newcastle have some very exciting young players in the squad
Were Sanches to arrive in January, he would be joining a crop of exciting young players on Tyneside.
Not only the aforementioned players but there is seemingly a group of exciting burgeoning prospects in the Newcastle academy.
The likes of Anthony Munda, Leo Shahar, Alfie Harrison and Trevan Sanusi are all seemingly primed for promising futures, which is very exciting for the club going forward.
