Newcastle United are reportedly facing competition for Sven Botman this summer in the form of Tottenham Hotspur.
The central defender is very much a target for the Magpies, who will surely make a move for the Netherlands youth international if the club stay in the Premier League.

Newcastle co-owner Amanda Staveley recently confirmed that the 22-year-old was a target and still wants to join the club.
She said (The Athletic): “Some desperately wanted to come to us, like Sven (Botman), who still does very much and has talked very openly about that.”
Botman was the subject of a number of bids from Newcastle during the January transfer window.
Ultimately though, Lille stood firm over their player.
That was understandable given they are in the Champions League and are seeking to qualify for the competition again next season.
Newcastle clearly want Botman to become a part of their project. Botman himself has already said that project is a ‘great’ one.
But they will not have it easy, with the Daily Star claiming Tottenham Hotspur are desperate to beat Newcastle to the player.
Antonio Conte has already been plating the seed at the club, and will expect new faces in the summer.
Sven Botman should choose Newcastle over Tottenham
This interest from Tottenham is not ideal for Newcastle.
Spurs could be a temptation, with their stadium, manager and being a London club.
But Botman should definitely choose Newcastle if it’s between those two teams.

Newcastle is an extremely exciting project, with a very hard working and tactically astute coach at the helm in Eddie Howe.
There is a huge feel-good factor at the club right now. And obviously he’d be playing in front of one of the most passionate and dedicated fanbases in world football.
